Dr. R. R. Hoppenschneider, Ph.D.
Dr. Hoppenschneider is a world-renowned authority in toad physiology and the founding chair of the Department of Amphibian Medicine. With over four decades of fieldwork and laboratory research, his insights into anuran cardiovascular systems have redefined best practices in amphibian diagnostics. He is beloved by students for his eccentric lectures and his ever-present companion— an orange and white cat named Tansy.
